As a Customer Success Manager, you’ll be the key link between our innovative PropTech solutions and our valued customers/potential customers, ensuring their success and satisfaction. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Certified Accounting Professional to join us as a Co-Founder for our PropTech startup based in Kitchener, Ontario. As a co-founder, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of the company, leveraging your expertise in accounting and finance to drive growth and success in the real estate technology sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with other co-founders to develop and refine the company's strategic vision, goals, and business model.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and challenges within the PropTech landscape, particularly in Ontario & Alberta.
Financial Management:
Oversee all financial aspects of the startup, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Develop and maintain robust accounting systems and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize profitability and sustainability.
Business Development:
Cultivate strategic partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders, including real estate professionals, investors, and technology vendors.
Lead fundraising efforts, including preparing investment materials, pitching to potential investors, and negotiating terms.
Product Development:
Collaborate with the technology team to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative PropTech solutions that address market needs and deliver value to customers.
Provide input and guidance on product pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategies.
Qualifications:
Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) designation required.
Proven track record of success in accounting, finance, and business leadership roles, preferably within the real estate or technology sectors.
Strong understanding of financial modeling, analysis, and valuation techniques.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving innovation and growth.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
